This morning, I just had my 5th exam paper at 9am. I was super tired, almost fall asleep while standing in e MRT cabin trying to read my exam notes. After exams, von & I went back to the business library to study as usual. When we were abt to leave and head for hm, I glance through the library level and guess what? We were the two & only souls left studying. Everyone's like finished off with the exams but we're still working on it. It just felt strange.
I went to Ashley blog and saw her latest blog post abt the cabbi driver trying to cheat passengers with an additional surcharge of $3 for passing the CBD area. Frankly speaking, I was impressed by her courage and actions to sort of confront the cabbi driver.
I did something similar a few days ago too. It wasn't that courageous though. I was browsing through i-weekly and saw this advertisement of CANMAKE new super pink mascara. The ad states that it hit the top chart of cosmetic sale when it was first released in Japan. And, it's going at a discounted price of $19.90 instead of the original $23.90. I was really considering buying therefore I went to JP's Watson's to enquire. To my surprise, the mascara was not discounted as what it states in i-weekly. The Watson staffs simply had no idea that it's a discounted item. Here, it's not abt the additional $4, it's abt the principles. Of course I didn't buy it in the end.
Then, I decided to call the main office to double confirm my doubts. The sales dept clarify that the mascara is really going at a discounted $19.90 price at ALL Watson outlets and they assured me that they'll fixed the problem immediately. Although I only received their reply call after a day, but they really got it done. I was kind of feeling great or should I say more of a satisfaction :)
