With a blur character, it's very easy to turn yourself into an ugly role in life

The author always thought that people who are blur or think without using their brains are very cute, until the day when she came across a news article which changed her thoughts.

The contents: A factory that deals with waste objects. When a worker was working on the maintenance of a machine (already stopped machine work), the machine suddenly started to turn which rolled him in. When his colleagues discovered it, they hurriedly destroy the machine. They spent 2 hours to pull him out but unfortunately, the worker was already dead. The reason behind is because his colleague accidentally turned on the machine switch.

Nike Run 24Oct10

It was a fine Sunday morning where lots of Singaporeans went to the Marina Bay Floating Platform, wearing super bright yellow light-stick color tees and participate in the Nike 10km Run 2010. I must say, this year's Nike Run tee weren't that fantastic as last year's.

We were the last few to join in the run as some of us were late for meet-up. Ch ran 1st as he wanted to catch up with his friends who took off during the first flag (but he didn't manage to catch up in the end). The rest of us (Zy, Xiao Ming, Ling, Jean, Weisi, Von and me) jogged off soon after. Frankly speaking, I only ran for the first 3km. Spent the following 2km slow-pace walking and the last 5km fast-pace walking. Reason is because I had a terrible headache after the 3rd km so I decided not to make my life miserable. This is not an excuse I swear!

So did I met any familiar faces during the event? Yes of course! I met Pinocchio at the finish point. Just chat a little and we went back to our gangs. Heard that Fang Qi and Henry went too but I didn't catch a glimpse of them during the run.

I was definitely feeling tired and thigh-aches after the event. Bet I would have a difficult time on my way to work tomorrow. Good luck buddy!

If we can face the light, then the dark will always be behind us. Escaping from the problem is not going to solve it, instead facing the problem does. In this way, we can then have a positive attitude towards life.

Zy & Ling's Bdae Celebration 28Sept10

Had a Dim Sum & KTV session with Lup Cheong Gang last sun, 28Sept10. Well, it's really rare that although all of us had graduated from NTU but we are still meeting up sometimes. Dim Sum buffet at Miramar Hotel, Peach Restaurant. Buffet Price was like $10+ initially (quote by von), but jumped to $35+ when the bill came. Yes! I got a shock but no choice, I had already had my fill and there's really nothing we can do if we were to find out the price only when we just sat in the restaurant for a few min. No extra time and effort to think about alternatives.

Dim Sum buffet was normal. Not only did the buffet consist of dim sum, they also have main course dishes like fried rice, shark fin's soup, sweet & sour pork etc. Desserts were limited so I wasn't that satisfied with the buffet in the end.

After the Brunch, our whole gang excluding You Nian, went for a KTV session at Balestier $10 Family KTV. To my surprise, Jason was actually a ktv-guy. He started singing as if an old-bird in KTV. As usual, everyone was quite shy to start singing but eventually, the whole session was still considered as fulfilling. I did quite enjoy myself except for the fact that I had a bad cough throughout the weekend.

I went to see the doctor on Wed afternoon, spending $44+ which is considered super expensive for me. OMG! I really can't afford to be sick every month. All my 辛苦钱 (hard-earn money) gone. NOOOOOOO..........
