Night Cycling 2010

As what I've mentioned in my previous post, I went for Night Cycling on the 30Jan2010 with my NTU friends. It was my first time and probably the last (couldn't survive without sleeping). Initially, everyone was excited. Busy checking the bike, back red light and helmet condition and chatting as we wait for the start of the cycling event.

There were a total of 164 ppl who participated with ages ranging from 8 yrs old to 50plus. Cisco policemen and policewomen helped to pave the road for us cyclists too. You can really imagine that most of our registration fees were spent there.

We started from Senja LRT station and cycled all the way to East Coast Park. Places we passed by were Dunearn Sec Sch (my sec sch) located in Bt Batok, S'pore Science centre at Jurong, West Coast Park, Vivo City at Harbour Front, Tanjong Pagar station, Raffles Place station, City Hall station and the Esplanade. I never ever thought that I'll cycle from my house to orchard area but I DID IT! :)

It's a great experience although it's really tiring. Maybe next time, I'll try a roller blading outing with them again :)
Ready to set off :)
