Some time ago, I celebrated my 24th birthday together with von (our birthdays were very close) with LCG at Holland Village. Emm.. Due to the fact that LCG is a big group, as expected, a lot of friends came. Please allow me to list them all out.
LCG members and those who came: Jean, Chee Wee, Lay Hoon, Chenming, Jinde, You Nian & girlfriend, Zuo Yuan, Zhu Jiang, Weisi, Von, Hui Huang, Jason and me. It's a pity that Ling was absent as he was overseas that day but not to worry, we still have lots of chances to gather :)
We had dinner at Amici, an Italian restaurant in Holland V. Food critic CAI: The food were overly priced and I thought it's really not worth the money. Atmosphere was so-so only as it's pretty dark inside which obstructed us from taking some good pictures. The place was rather small and we had some difficulty traveling in the restaurant (we were sitting by the restaurant entrance which was a bad spot as customers walked in and out all the time causing some inconvenience). Again, another restaurant was strike out of my list. That'll be my first and last visit there I promised. Although the food were not bad but I believed that there'll be more choices out there for me to explore.
After dinner, we headed to Daily Scoop ice cream shop for some desserts. I LOVE ICE CREAM AND DESSERTS! We took some better photos and then everyone headed home (Zy, Jason, Jinde and Chenming went for a drink - BEER in a pub afterso).
Last of all, my presents from LCG :) Well, I think it's very important to highlight my preferred / ideal present to my fellow friends who are figuring hard to get the best birthday present for us. At this age, I don't think some "shocking surprises" would do any practical good. These surprises should be saved for birthday cards etc. Therefore, I requested for a red and long wallet and I GOT IT! A braun buffel red long wallet with compartments almost similar as my previous one. I LOVE IT! I also got a set of 2AM (Korea famous vocal boy band) socks from Jason which he ordered online. I bet it must be from gmarket. Ha! Appreciate it. Thanks!
