Happy Birthday Ashley! - 8Mar12

Our first celebration of her birthday together :)

The lead in the post is Ashley, my boyfriend's eldest brother's girlfriend. That day, we had a date to celebrate her birthday (actual date was on 10 March), together with Vivien, my boyfriend's second elder brother's girlfriend. Sounds very complicated but YES, we actually became very good friends. But it's a pity, Vivien couldn't come as she was sick. The two of us went as usual and had fun still.

We had Fine Dining at Angus Black Restaurant located at Takashimaya. Each of us paid $70 for a full course set meal. Her steak costs $49+ and my mixed grilled seafood costs $33+. We both topped up $10 to make it a set meal (super worth it). Ordered additional spaghetti at $16+.

My first Fine Dining experience took place at Black Angus, located at Takashimaya and I gave high ratings for the restaurant.
I was taken back by their appetizer, seriously.
After the first bite, this came to my mind: How can an appetizer tastes SO GOOD?
It just made me look forward to the upcoming dishes :)

V. Day with Him - 12Feb12

Once again, I clicked on the blogger web page and start blogging again. How long has it been? One month?

We had V. Day celebration on the 12th instead of the 14th which falls on a Sunday. Just the two of us, we went for coffee and Japanese food. Sounds very normal but I like it that way. No big fuss or Ooh-ha about the occasion. Well, it's just another weekend for us.

I had cravings for Green Tea Latte during that period of time so we went for a cup of coffee at Starbucks which we usually don't. Yes I know, we are very random. Spend some relaxing time while drinking the latte and chilling out.

Then he brought me to this Japanese restaurant, Chikuwa Tei located at Mohammad Sultan Road which was recommended by his friend . We were actually quite full after the super big cup of Green Tea Latte but still, we each ordered a main and a side. The food was not bad except for his main, which was a mash tuna wasabi don. After eating a few mouths, I felt like puking. Maybe it just doesn't suit our taste and we left half of it unfinished.

Happy Valentine's Day to You Dada! May more years await us to celebrate them :)
