Night Cycling 2010

I've registered for a night cycling activity which is going to be held this coming sat evening till sun morning. OMG! That's gonna be tiring but as all my NTU friends are very enthusiastic about it so.. I decided to join in as well.

For those who really know me well should know that actually I can't really see well in the night. Haha.. So what's gonna happen on that day? Who knows?

Papa's bdae celebration 17Jan2010

Had a mini family gathering on the 17th of Jan to celebrate my father's birthday which is on the 20th. It's been long since our whole family get together and encounter such chaotic noises.

PS: Chaotic here means real battle noises created by my 4 nephews and niece.

Sentosa with NTU friends

I think it's about a month ago, during our NTU holidays, my friends and I went to Sentosa beach for a play. It's my first Sentosa trip with them :)

I've been wanting to post this hate list long time ago when someone really pissed me off. It's not only one person, it's THREE.

HATE LIST:

NO. 1) ONG CHEE HONG

REASON: SELFISH, INSENSITIVE & IRRITATING

MY WORDS ON SELFISH: Doesn't helps in supervising his cousin (2hr tuition weekly is never enough and I strongly believed that family members played an important role in guiding). Not standing up for girlfriend (ME) when I got bullied and instead, using his iPhone to check out soccer news. Yes! He might have the excuse of not witnessing the whole incident but I'll say, DON'T GIVE ME THAT CRAP!

MY WORDS ON INSENSITIVE: Once in a while, he would say insensitive words to me e.g. STUPID, WHOLE LIFE SCARE THIS SCARE THAT etc. Yes! I could take it the first few times but once those hurting words becomes many, I'm not going to sit back and be a dummy.

MY WORDS ON IRRITATING: He really doesn't know how to observe people's expressions and actions. When I was not in the mood for jokes, he just keeps on irritating me. I've already said that I DON'T LIKE IT but it all falls on deaf ears. His pleasure is to torture me and irritate me to make himself happy. This really angers me a lot.

NO. 2) LEE WEI HAN

REASON: ARROGANT ATTITUDE

MY WORDS: Every time when I or anybody speaks to him, he would reply with an arrogant attitude. It's like you are not respecting the other party who are talking to you. Yes I know (from n.W.o) that he has been behaving in that manner since they know him but that shouldn't be the case. Many times, I've been left speechless with his arrogant attitude words. He just does the things he likes and display irritated and annoyed attitude when he doesn't like it. I know I'm not in the position to correct him or to mend his behavior and even if I do, he would never listen. Just leave him as he is, forever.

NO. 3) LIM HUI XIANG

REASON: DISRESPECT

MY WORDS: I've always thought he was different from the rest as he works hard for earning money on his own. But recently on a bbq outing, he just threw away my Egg Mayo sandwiches which I took efforts to prepare for everyone while he's clearing the rubbish. Yes I know that's leftovers but we shouldn't waste food. I could have brought it back to have for breakfast the next day but he just casually asked if he could throw it and before I could answer him, my sandwiches are in the rubbish bin. I was so shocked that I raised my voice and yell at him HOW COULD YOU BE SO DISRESPECTFUL TO MY EFFORTS! He didn't realized that I was angry and continue to do his stuffs after saying an INSINCERE SORRY (at least I didn't think that it's sincere).

There were 2 stranger ladies around and I got this kind of SHIT. I wanted to calm myself down and convince myself that throwing leftovers are necessary but I can't. There was almost half a chicken (brought by ch) left lying beside the bbq pit but he didn't threw that away in the end. I was fuming with anger and threw it into the bin. Of course I did ask cucumber and he say it's ok to throw as there were charcoal ashes on top.

Although, after that he apologized to me sincerely (after ch told him that I was unhappy about the incident) but I still don't feel good.

I was wondering, is it because that my sandwiches are cheap stuffs and the chicken is more expensive and that explains all his actions?

Game Play

• Round 1: Top Gun
The game involves the teams to attack each other's balloon. The first team to burst their opponent's balloon will be declared the winner. In the process of attacking each other, if any player is shot, they are required to proceed back to their homebase and to restart the game from there.

• Round 2: Capture the Flags
There will be two flags place within the maze and each flag will be located within the perimeters of the respective teams. On hearing the siren, the two teams are to run into the maze, locate their own flag, capture it, bring the flag back to their homebase , run up the steps of their homebase and upon reaching the top, to wave the flag. The first team to complete this task will be declared the winner. Any player who has been shot has to proceed back to his/her respective homebase and restart from there.

• Round 3: Elimination
For this game, the rule is simple. Players that have been shot or have run-out of pellets, are out of the game. They are not allowed to continue with the game but players that have been shot but still have pellets in their weapon will be allowed to pass their remaining pellets to their team mates who is still in the game. The last team left in the arena, will be declared the winner of the game.Note: Game play can vary due to circumstances eg: weather, players’ condition and preference.
How To Prepare For Paintball:
1) Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Preferably, you should wear dark clothing with long sleeves. Don't worry about the paint splats as it will wash out easily in normal washing, but you'll be running, crawling, crouching and kneeling a lot. Better to be comfortable than stylish.

2) Wear good outdoor shoes that provide ankle support. Sprained ankles are the #1 cause of injury in many sports and Paintball is no exception. Having good ankle support reduces the risk of injury.

3) Bring some snacks and LOTS OF DRINKS. We have drinks available for sale. Keep in mind that soft drinks are not good to drink when exercising. Stick to water, juice or sports drinks. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT ALL TIME.

4) Bring Sun Block as it can get very hot during a game and getting sun burnt is not a nice experience.

5) Bring Insect Repellent as the game is played outdoors on a grass field.

6) Bring your Driver's License or IC for verification of Age. By Law, all players must be 14 years or older. Proof of age must be provided prior to play.

7) A change of clothes is always nice, since you'll be getting dirty and sweaty by the end of the day.

The must-have attitude!!

Prepare to go all out to get dirty &... P-A-I-N!!!!

Well, those were the times. :)

It wasn't like I had not already practiced all the steps in my head a million times before.

But as usual, my hands just kinda got tangled with the pots and pans. :x

I got so excited that banana started to feel apprehensive.

"Fun for you. Scary for us". That's what she said.

Have some confidence in me please! Lol.

The end product was edible (at least don't feel rubber-ish). HAHA.

Definitely there's room for improvement.

PS: Chopping onions can really brought tears to my eyes.

Its not a myth! Opps.

Conclusion: I'm a cooking noob! Heh.

Overall, my results are considered only average. Studying in university definitely wasn't easy and i'm glad that I've tried my best in the exams. Happy with my results but I'll try harder next semester :)

PS: I've got a friend who scored an A for EE4718 ENTERPRISE NETWORK DESIGN and he consider himself as lucky. He said he scored badly for EE4791 DATABASE SYSTEMS which he got the same grade as me -_-

Does that mean that I scored BADLY? This is my best semester results so far -_-
