Korea Grad Trip Day 5 - 19Jun10

Day 5: Lunchbox Cafe (featuring sweet potato couple) + Tea Museum + Insadong

Daily breakfast at our guesthouse
Here we are at the Lunchbox Cafe where the Sweet Potato Couple once came during their shoot of We Got Married

Super anticipating the lunchbox lunch
Shake shake here and shake shake there :p
Before and after pictures
Looks super fun and it really is interesting :)
We wrote some notes and hang it in the Notes Tree in the cafe
I think it's Xiao Ming or Zuo Yuan who wrote this: There is a fly in my cup; nice call button.
LMAO!

Figuring our way to the authentic old Korean houses in those dramas with a GPS loan from the Tourism Board Help counter.

There we are!
You see, Koreans even plant their own lettuce outside their house for consumption

Taking photos with the beautiful old houses in Korea
Saw the amusing signboard? BEST!
Laugh Laugh!

Weisi's slow motion six shots..
Super funny! :p

Walking along the Insadong streets and buying small bites

Fresh food stalls all along the streets, attracting tourists to purchase
The Tourism Board was so sweet to have information guide for tourists in all Korean attraction areas so don't you worry about getting lost here.

The Tea Museum near Insadong
I took a photo with Von's big brother and I could only say, HE'S TOO TALL!

Taking shots of the Tea Museum cum cafe

As you see, it's a TEA museum, so they are very particular about the TEA process

Individuals with the tea and drinks

Green tea waffle with ice cream and bananas and wip cream.. Super delicious!
Unique decorations in the cafe with super yummy honey mandarin tea was a luxury.
The green tea cake was not my favorite thou as it was bitter with only green tea taste; no sugar at all :(

We bought some tea leaves back and I can guarantee that you can't find them anywhere in Singapore.

Strolling along the Insadong shops
The design layout of the shopping centre was very unique as you just need to keep walking (in squares) to reach the top. No stairs needed to reach other levels.

As what the photo says, MINIATURE MUSEUM.
All items they sell in the shop are all miniature stuffs which means an ornament -_-
But they're cute indeed :)

Ssamziegil is the name of the shopping building I guess

See how happy they are when they were waiting for me to finish my pick for some earrings

See! Another super cute kid in my picture :)

Authentic dinner at Korean Restaurant
Look at the fried seafood pancake, bibimbap, ginseng chicken soup, soup noodles and side dishes.. It really made my saliva drool :p

Super HIGH ice cream from Myeong Dong
A must to have in Korea!

Zuo Yuan and Xiao Ming leaving their foot prints in Myeong Dong :)

Before we sleep, gathering again.
Bananas; trimming fingernails; resting etc
